  1. Hi Ravi,

Good to see that you are writing more posts related to WordPress.

Yes, the problems with WordPress admin panel are more common, and you have listed down all possible difficulties that we face with Admin login.

I always scare to add/change the codes through Cpanel, but at times I used to do it with care.

To stay safe, it would be good to hide the login URL, hide all the directories and WP files and Username.

I have recently crafted a long guide on how to hide these loopholes and improve WordPress security.

Thanks for crafting such an excellent post for the WordPress users, keep up your good work.

    1. Hi Nirmala,

Though it’s important to concentrate upon the WordPress security but sometimes bloggers break their websites using for security. It’s always good to choose the plugin carefully.

An idea of hiding the directories is really a plus point for the security. But most of the bloggers don’t get these technical things. The problem with the WordPress admin panel is common and beginners should know how to fix them.

      Thanks for your input.

      Glad to have you.

  2. Ravi — good tips. It took me a long time to realize that when I was in the admin panel writing/editing a post, that when I saved it, sometimes an older version would appear. I thought I was doing something wrong, when I finally realized you have to clear your cache if you make too many edits in a post. This is something a newbie blogger might not realize.

    1. Hi Jeannette,

What if you are locked out of your login panel? Though clearing the cache is something you must do but what about the scenario as you want to write a blog post but can’t. This is something heart-breaking.

The things I have mentioned above are needed to know. WordPress is an amazing platform and you should know how to handle it with care.

The reasons are here and the solutions should be considered at their best.

      Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

      Enjoy the day.

    1. Hi Saurav,

It’s good to know that you found this article helpful.

For a WordPress blog, there are many things to know about. Like you said, people set up a blog very easily, but what after that? Have you ever thought about it?

You may face many problems during handling a WordPress blog. First of all, you need the reasons of those problems and then try to find the right solution.

      Appreciate your input.

      Have a good day.

  4. Hi Ravi,

Good to be around today and thanks for creating the post.

Like you said, the first step to salvaging the problem is knowing why one is unable to login. If you miss it at this level, you may end up not getting the right solution.

People should however be careful with those plugins they install. Most of these are poorly coded even though tagged “Premium”

I’m sure this post will help those facing the same problem.

Do have a wonderful week bro

    1. Hey Enstine,

I am happy to see you around.:)

Yeah! People don’t even look up on the reviews before installing a plugin to their website. There are many plugins which are poorly coded and can cause many problems with the website.

For beginners, it’s like a ghost when they aren’t able to login to their WordPress admin panel. they should learn to keep calm and try to know the reason why this happened.

      Thanks for your valuable input.

      Enjoy the day.

  5. Hi Ravi,

What would I do? Cry. Seriously though, I never play around with plugins because one time way back it really mixed up my blog so much it took days to fix. Luckily, I do have a self hosted blog hat does back things up. If I did have a problem I would contact the guy I use.

But…for my others blogs that are on a shared hosted platform, I would need to do what you suggested above. I am not good with this kind of stuff, but this has helped me in many ways. I will book mark this and give my other blogs more attention. It would be a nightmare if I couldn’t get into it.

Thanks so much for giving us great solutions to a problem no one wants to ever face!

    -Donna

    1. Hi Donna,

Playing with the plugins isn’t a good idea. People should choose them very carefully. I mean just one plugin can break the whole code of your website. You can lock out of your WordPress admin panel. Adding new codes can be risky. So it is always recommended to have the backup.

Crying isn’t the solution. You should try to know the reason and solve the problem. You should always try to know more about WordPress and the cPanel. Most of the solutions come from the cPanel.

Thanks for sharing your wonderful thoughts.

      Enjoy the time.

      ~Ravi

  6. Hi Ravi,

Good Heavens I had no idea so many things could go wrong. Quite frightening.

I’ve luckily escaped these problems, although I do know there are badly coded plugins because when I moved to Managed WordPress Hosting the new hosting company wouldn’t accept some of the plugins I was using because they said they were badly coded and presented a security risk.

Even if these happened to me, as a fairly experienced blogger, I would be in a panic. But for a newcomer it would be even worse.

Luckily my hosting company handles these things for me, but I’ll bookmark your post in case I need it for anyone else.

Thanks for such helpful explanations of everything we need to take care of,

    1. Hey joy,

It’s good to know that you don’t have to worry about any plugin issue. But what if you install the plugin and after few days you are locked out of your WordPress admin panel. It can happen due to many reasons.

Though at the certain point, you should keep calm and try to find an issue. It may be any plugin, any extra code you just added in any of your files.

      Thanks for being here.

      Enjoy the week.
